PAUL COUNCIL NO ' OFFICE OF THE CITY CLERK COUNCIL R FORM PRESENTED BY tA�ar�'L. . - CJ%Ct� COMMISSIONS DATE WHEREAS, the Commissioner of Public Utilities has reported, in accordance with Section 53 of the City Charter, the existence of an emergency during the period from March 1, 1961 to March 15, 1961 inclusive which rendered necessary the employment of certain employees of the Department of Public Utilities for more than eight hours per day or forty hours per week in doing the following work: Making emergency repairs to street lighting circuits, and WHEREAS, this emergency arose by reason of the following facts and circum- stances: Overtime night work required to restore street lighting service immediately for public safety, therefore, be it RESOLVED, that the proper city officers are hereby authorized to pay the employees who performed such work in accordance with the pro- visions of the Council's Salary ordinance, Ordinance No. 6446.
