Order to Remove or Repair I52 King Street West
i WI�REAS, the Saint Paul City Council adopted Council File #08-354 on August 6, 2008 an Order to
z Remove or Repair the building(s) at 152 King Street West within 15 days; and
a WHEREAS, this action was recommended to the City Council by the legislative hearing officer following a
s thorough review of the City's record and no responsible parties coming forward interested in abating the
5 nuisance conditions at the property; and
s WHEREAS, Wally Nelson of Renovation Inc. purchased this property and came forward to the City
9 Council with a proposal for this properiy's rehabilitation plan including the following items which have
to traditionally been considered the conditaons necessary to receive a grant of time from the Council to do a
t t rehabilitation:

13 1) the $5,000 performance bond was posted on August 29, 2008;
ta 2) a signed Purchase Agreement dated August 14, 2008;
is 3) a deed dated September 2, 2048;
t6 4) Mr. Nelson has provided evidence of adequate financing to the hearing officer and vacant building
» program manager; and
i s 5} a work plan addressing all of the items articulated in the code compliance inspection of November 14,
�v 2007 for 152 King Street West.

ai NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the Saint Paul City Council grants 180 days fox the
22 rehabilitation of 152 King Street West, and which grant shall be an amendment to Council File #08-354.
