before the Council of the City of Saint Paul, in the
Council Chamber of the Court House land City Hall, in said
,City, at ten o'clock A. M., on June 29, 1961, upon the
advisability and necessity of the repair, replacement,
remodeling, or wrecking and removal of the two -car garage
on Lot 2, All of Lot 1, Block 9, Rearrangement of South one -
half of Block;9, Butterfield Syndicate Addition No. 1,
according to the plat thereof recorded in the office of the
Register of Deeds of Ramsey County, Minnesota, also
described as 739 West Central Avenue, because said structure
is reported to be dangerous and unsafe to life, limb and
adjoining property.

Dear Council Members:
Numerous inspections have been made of the two car garage at
the -rear of 739 West Central Avenue, St. Paul 4, also describ-
ed as: Subject to Easement West 11.6 feet of North 25..6 feet
aof Lot 2, All of Lot 1, Block 9, Rearrangement of South one -
half of Block 9, Butterfield Syndicate Addition No. 1, Ramsey
County.
This garage is approximately 25 by 20 feet, dilapidated, out
of plumb, beyond reasonable repair, and should be wrecked and
removed. A Danger Notice has been posted.
The last known record owner is Beth Israel Hospital And Home
Society, Inc., of Colorado, Denver, Colorado; and contract
purchasers are John D. Randle and Dovie M. Randle, 387 North
Western Avenue, St. Paul 3. Martin J. Lyden is attorney for
the owner, at 641 University Avenue, St. Paul 4.
This is referred to you for condemnation action, by setting
a public hearing date in accordance with Section 1.07 -2 of
the St. Paul Legislative Code.
