Hon. City Council
City of Saint Paul
Dear Council Members:
Our building inspector has made a thorough investigation of
the double house at 362 -4 Ramsey Street, St. Paul 2, which is
described as Lot 22, Whitacre, Brisbane And Mullins Subdivi-
sion of Lots 1 and 2 of Leech's Addition of Outlots to the
Town of Saint Paul.
This is a brick veneer double house, two stories high at the
front and three stories high at the rear, 33 by 44 feet.
It is partially wrecked by vandals and the rear brick veneer
wall appears to be separating from the frame wall. Trim has
rotted, plaster is in poor condition, loose and cracked.
Floors are uneven. Plumbing and electrical ,work are in deteri-
otated condition, and parts are missing. This building should
be wrecked and removed. A Danger Notice has been posted.
C. J. Rein Investment Co., Inc., 105 Pioneer Building, St. Paul
1 are listed as record owners. Copies of the proceedings
should be sent to Arthur Thom Realty Co., 315 New York Building,
St. Paul 1, and Dr. Berlin, 2200 South Redwood Drive, Anaheim,
California.
It is recommended that a public hearing date be set in accord-
ance with Section 1.07 -2 of the St. Paul Legislative Code, which
outlines condemnation procedure.
Yours truly,
Alfr H. Schroeder
