A public hearing having been had upon the above improvement upon due notice, and the Council
having heard all persons, objections and recommendations relative thereto, and having fully considered
the same; therefore, be it
RESOLVED, By the Council of the City of St. Paul that the precise nature, extent and kind of im-
provement to be made by the said City is to reconstruct the sidewalk on the east side of
Forest St. between Case Ave. and Jenks Ave, abutting the properties known as 972
and 976 Forest St.., except where good and sufficient sidewalks now exist

directed to prepare plans and specifications for said improvement, and submit same- w-the Council for
approval; that upon said approval, the proper city officials are hereby authorized and directed to pro-
ceed with the making of said improvement in accordance therewith.

The Commissioner of Public Works, having had under consideration the pre-
liminary order of the Council, known as Council File No. 201300
approved March 21st, 19 61 relative to reconstructing the sidewalk

on the east side of Forest .St. between Case Ave. and Jenks Ave. abutting,the proper-
-ties knQwn as 972 and 976 Forest St.
and having investigated the matters and things referred to therein, hereby reports:
1. The estimated cost thereof is $0.52 per eq. ft. for mono* conc. walk 4"
thick. Extra work(excay., fill, conc. rem'd, root cutting; drive crossings,etc.),
at extra cost.

a part hereof.
