RESOLVED, that Northern Pacific railway Co.
be permitted to construct an 8 -ft. cyclone type fence
around their transformer bank in connection with improve-
ments to their Mississippi Street power plant, on
Westminster Street between York Avenue and Minnehaha Avenue
said fence to be constructed under the direction and to the
satisfaction of the Commissioner of Parks, Recregtion and
Public Buildings.

Dear Sir:

Northern Pacific Railway Company has made building
permit application No.,/31355 dated May 19 covering the construc-
tion of a 10t x- 121 -'71 high cyclone -type fence around a
transformer bank in connection with the improvements to our
Mississippi Street power plant, Westminster Street between
York Street and Minnehaha Avenue, St. Paul.
It is our understanding that special action of the
Council is required for fences over 5 feet in height, and I
will be pleased if you will arrange for whatever action'%is
necessary for issuing the building permit.
Please notify Mr. A. C. Cayou, Architect, Northern
Pacific Railway Company at 176 East Fifth Street, St. Paul or
telephone CApitol 2 -7773, Extension 381 when the permit is
ready.
