PAUL COUNCIL NO. ��Mdd III��VII as OFFICE OF THE CITY CLERK �''��// _� COUNCIL ESOLUTION— GENERAL FORM PRESENTED BY2�.YD�. //'�-�.� PRESENTED B neTc WHEREAS, the Commissioner of Public Utilities has reported, in accordance with Section 53 of the City Charter, the existence of an emergency during the period from May 16, 1961 to May 31, 1961 inclusive which rendered necessary the employment of certain employees of the Department of Public Utilities for more than eight hours per day or forty hours per week in doing the following work: Making emergency repairs to street lighting circuits, Making concrete block tests, and WHEREAS, this emergency arose by reason of the following facts and circum- stances: Overtime night work required to restore street lighting service immediately for public safety, Completion of tests requiring continuous attention, therefore, be it RESOLVED, that the proper city officers are hereby authorized to pay the employees who performedllsuch work in accordance with the pro- visions of the Councilfs Salary ordinance, Ordinance No. 6446.
