OFFICE OF THE CITY CLERK COUNCIL RESOLUTION— GENERAL FORM PRESENTED BY COMMISSIONI W]E,AS, the Commissioner of Public Utilities has reported, in accordance with Section 53 of the City Charter, the existence of an emergency during the period from May 16th to May 31st 1961 inclusive, which rendered necessary the employment of certain employees of the Water Department for more than eight hours per day or forty hours per week in doing the following work: 1 Repairing equipment, various stations: 2 Working extra shifts, various stations: 3 Finishing installation of new water mains and service connections: 4 Changing meter at 719 Raymond: 5 Driving country crew to and from work: AND WIEREAS, this emergency arose by reason of the following facts and circumstances: 1 Necessary to do work during low consumption hours: 23 Absence of regular employeeso 3) In order to put water mains and service connections in service as soon as possible: 44 Meter had to be changed after working hours: 153 On account of scattered work locations• TMWOREj BE IT RESOLVED, that the proper city officers are hereby authorized to pay the employees who performed such work in accordance with the provisions of the Council's Salary Ordinance, Ordinance No: 6446: COUNCILMEN Yeas Nays DeCourcy Rolland Loss Mortinson Peterson Rosen Mr. President, Vavoulis ISM a•eo .®02 7 -In Favor ID A gainst Council Flle7gd: 202409 —By Mrs. Donald M.
