AUTHORIZATION OF LOCAL IMPROVEMENT PROJECTS
PRESENTED BY HON. Milton Rosen DATE June 1. 19 61_
In the matter of changing the grade of the alley in Block 9, Eastville Heights,
from 220 ft. west of Mendota Ave. to Arcade St. to'conform to the grade as shown on
the profile on file in the Dept. of Public Works; also grading and surfacing the
alley in Block 9, Eastville Heights, from Mendota St. to Arcade St. to the proposed
change of grade; also constructif a sewer in the alley from a point 220 ft. west
of Mendota St. to a point 158.15 west of Mendota St.; also constructing a sewer in
an easement to be obtained on the easterly 4ft. of Lot 26, Block 9, Eastville
Heights, from Jessamine Ave. to the alley in the rear of said lots, under Prelimi-
nary Order 198204, approved July 26, 1960, and Final Order 199575, approved
November 8, 1960.
Resolved, That the plans and specifications as submitted for the above named im-
provement be, and the same are hereby approved, and the Commissioner of Public
Works be, and he is hereby directed to do the work at an estimated cost of
$5,396.00 by City forces, and that the Purchasing Agent proceed to secure the
necessary materials, and be it
Further Resolved, That the*cost of the above improvement, including engineering
and inspection expenses amounting to $520.00, or a total of $5,916.00, be assessed
against the benefited property.
