RESOLVED, That the Council hereby approves the award of the Purchasing Committee
therefor and hereby awards contract for furnishing and delivering to the Department
of Public Utilities, Bureau of Lighting, 100 East Tenth Street, St. Paul, Minnesota
300 Type RMA -10 Westinghouse Optical Assemblies -to WESTINGHOUSE ELECTRIC SUPPLY
COMPANY in accordance with City specifications and the Formal Bid #8354 of said
Westinghouse Electric Supply Company for the contract price, of $5436.00, such bid
being the lowest and said Westinghouse Electric Company being a reasonable and
reliable bidder and the Corporation Counsel be and hereby is directed to draw up the
proper form of contract therefor and the proper City officials are hereby authorized
to execute said contract on behalf of the City of Saint Paul.
