RESOLVED, That the Council hereby approves the award of the Contract Committee
therefo� and hereby awards contract for the Grading and Paving of Marion Street
from 154' North of Center Line of Fuller �venue to University Avenue (Municipal
State Aid project 62-160-02� to ASHBACH CONSTRUCTION COMPANY in accordance with
City plans and specifications therefor hereto attached and the Formal Bid ��8489 �
of said Ashbach�Construction Company for the contract price of $61,47b�81 (at
unit prices bid) plus Water Department_ Charges $250.00, plus Engineeri�g $4917.66
and plus Inspection $1229.42 by City Forces, such bid being the lowest and said
Ashbach Construction Company being a reasonable and reliable bidder and the
Corporation Counsel be and hereby is directed to draw up the proper form of contract
therefor, and the proper City officials hereby are authorized to execute said
contract on behalf of the City of Saint Paul. �
