RESOLVED, That the Council hereby approves the award of the Contract(Committee
therefor and hereby awards contract for furnishing all labor, materials and
services necessary for and reasonably incidental to the Landscape Planting at
Highland Park, Como Park and Phalen Park Golf Courses, Saint Paul, Minnesota,
to BIRCH LAKE NURSERIES, INC. d /b /a ELLING'S BIRCH LAKE NURSERY in accordance
with City plans and specifications therefor hereto attached and the Formal Bid
#8480 of said Birch Lake Nurseries, Inc. d /b /a Elling's Birch Lake Nursery for
the contract price of $2,819.00, such bid being the lowest and said Birch Lake
Nurseries, Inc. d /b /a Elling's Birch Lake Nursery being a reasonable and reliable

bidder, and the Corporation Counsel be and hereby is directed to draw up the
proper form of contract therefor, and.the proper City officials hereby are
authorized to execute said contract on behalf of the City of Saint Paul.
