The Council of the City of St. Paul having received the report of the Commissioner of Finance
upon the above improvement, and having considered said report, hereby resolves:
1. That the said report and the same is hereby approved and adopted, and the said improvement
is hereby ordered to be proceeded with.
2. , That the._nature, of the improvement which the Council recommends. is to reconstruct the
sidewalk on the north side of Wheelock Parkway from Dale St. to MackubiniSt., construct
new sidewalk on both sides of Wheelock Parkway from Mackubin St, to Arlilgton Ave. and
on the south side from Dale St. to Mackubin St., except where good and sufficient side-
walks now exist
with no alternatives, and that the estimated cost thereof is x.52 per sq,. ft: for 4" mono.conc.walk.
(Excay., fill, conc. rem!d., root cutting, drive crossings, etc- at extra cost.)
Resolved Further, That a public hearing be had on said improvement on the 19th day of
September, 1061 , at the hour of 10 o'clock A. M., in the Council Chambler of the Court
House and City Hall Building in the City of St. Paul. That the Commissioner of Finance give notice of
said meeting to the persons and in the manner provided by the Charter, stating the t'' i e and place of
hearing, the nature of the improvement and the total cost thereof as estimated.
