RESOLVED, That the Council hereby approves-the award of the Contract Committee
therefor and hereby awards contract for Sewer Repair on the Troutbrook Sewer
Extension, vicinity Maryland and Mississippi, on the Interstate Highway 35E R/W
to LAMETTI & SONS, INC. in accordance with City plans and specifications therefor
hereto attached and the Formal Bid #8459 of said Lametti & Sons, Inc. for the
contract price of $68,610.00 (Unit Price $5.00 Per Lin. Ft. for any increase or
decrease in total amount of steel piling driven) plus $2,250.00 Engineering and
Inspection by City Forces, such bid being the lowest and said Lametti & Sons, Inc.
being a reasonable and reliable bidder and the Corporation Counsel be and hereby is
directed to draw up the proper form of contract therefor, and the proper City
officials hereby are authorized to execute said contract on behalf of the City of
Saint Paul.
