Hon. City Council
City of Saint Paul
Dear Council Members:
This Department has made various inspections of the single
family dwelling at 1928 East Arlington Avenue on Lot 8,
Block 6, Hayden Heights Addition, and are now in receipt
of a petition from approximately sixty eight property own-
ers from that vicinity.
It is a one story frame dwelling and attached garage, 18
by 30 by 12, sets on the rear of the lot adjacent to the
alley. The roof is sagging, walls are leaning, and the
building is approximately fifty per cent deteriorated, and
due to its illegal location on the lot may not be repaired.
It should be wrecked and removed.
The last known record owner is John L. Ernst, 1652 Wellesley
Avenue, St. Paul 5.
Kindly institute condemnation action by setting a date for
a hearing, in accordance with Section 1.07 -2 of the St.
Paul Legislative Code, which section outlines procedure for
condemnations.
Yours truly,
s
Alf ed H. Schroeder
