RESOLVED, that an extra in the amount of $735.00
be allowed under Contract No. G -2454 between the City of
Saint Paul and the M. E. Souther Construction Company, said
contract for Replacement of Windows on First and Second
Floors of the Public Utilities Building, 100 East Tenth
Street, Saint Paul, Minnesota, and said extra to cover re-
moval of steel frames and glass and replacement with glass
blocks and one ventilator, two windows in the stair well
and one in the wash room, this work having been requested
by the Commissioner of Public Utilities, and agreement made
with the contractor and a memorandum of said agreement
having been filed with the Comptroller and countersigned by
him.

Contract No. G -2454 was awarded to M. E. Souther Construction
Company for Replacement of Windows on First and Second Floors
of the Public Utilities Building, 100 East Tenth Street,
Saint Paul, Minnesota.
During the course of the work under this contract, it is
found desirable to remove steel frames and glass and replace
with glass blocks and one ventilator, two windows in the
stair well and one in the wash room, and at the request of
the Commissioner of Public Utilities negotiations have been
conducted with the contractor who agrees to do this work for
the sum of $735.00, which is a reasonable amount for the work
and material involved.
It is, therefore, requested that a resolution be submitted
to the Council authorizing this extra in this amount.
