WIIEREAS, After due consideration and study of the fmancial condition of the Saint Paul Regional
Water Services, analysis of projected expenses and recommendation of the 2009 $udget, the Boazd of
Water Commissioners and the City Council have determined that'the present rate structure is inadequate
to continue operations without an adjushnent; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That pursuant to Section 85.01 of the Saint Paul Legislative Code the City Council hereby
approves the following Schedule of Water Rates for all water bills levied on or after January 1, 2009.

billed quarterly.
