Partially opening, widening and ex- tending the proposed Short Line Road from Summit Ave. to St. Clair Ave. by condemning and. taking the following lots and parcels of land: Lots 1, 2, 3, 4, 17, 18, 19 and 20, Block 1, Stinson's Boulevard Addition to St. ''" 7,,ts,1, _2,F 5, 20,E 21� 12 and 25, PRELIMINARY ORDER.'" 2034,01 0 ................ ......_ The undersigned hereby proposesthemakingof thefollowing public improvement by the City of Saint Paul, viz.: Partially opening, widening and extending the proposed Short Line Road from Summit Ave. to St. Clair Ave. by condemning and taking the following -lots and- parcels of land: - Lots 1, 2, 3, 4, 17, 18, 19 and 20, Block 1, Stinson's Boulevard Addition to St. Paul. Lots 1, 22 5, 20, 21, 22 and 25, Block 4, Stinson's Boulevard Addition to St. Paul. Lots 1, 2, 28 and 29, Block 5, Stinson's Boulevard Addition to St. Paul. Block 2, St. Clair St. and Short Line Addition.to the City of St. Paul, Plat 2. Lots 1, 2, 3, 4 and 5, Block 3, St. Clair St. and Short Line Addition to the City of St. Paul, Plat 2. Those parts of Lots 1, 2, and 3, Block 6, St. Clair St. and Short Line Addition to the City of $t. Paul, Plat 2, lying easterly of the following described line: Commencing at a point on the north line of Lot 1, 50 ft. easterly of the northwest corner of said Lot 1; thence southeasterly on a straight line to a point on the south line of Lot 3 and 95 ft. easterly of the southwest corner of said Lot 3 . Except the west 95 ft. all of Lots 4, 51 6, 7 and 8, Block 6, St. Clair St. and Short Line Addition to the City of St. Paul, Plat 2. Lots 9, 10, 11 and 12.. Block 6, St. Clair St. and Short Line Addition to the City of St. Paul, Plat 2. therefore, be it RESOLVED, That the Commissioner of Public Works be and is hereby ordered and directed: 1. To investigate the necessity for, or desirability of, the making of said improvement. 2. To investigate the nature, extent and estimated cost of said improvement, and the total cost thereof. 3. To furnish a plan, profile or sketch of said improvement. 4. To state whether or not said improvement is asked for on the petition of three or more owners. 5. To report upon all of the foregoing matters to the Commissioner of Finance.
