WHEREAS, it has come to the City's attention, through notice
from the Minnesota Railroad and Yarehous Commission, that the matter
of the proposed discontinuance of passenger trains 15 and 16 between
Minneapolis, Minnesota, and Tacoma, Washington, by the Chicago, Milwaukee,
St. Paul and Pacific Railroad Company, ICC Finance-Docket 21391., will
come up for hearing before Examiner Lester K.- Conley on February 13, 1961,
at 9:30 a. m. at the metropolitan Building in Minneapolis, at which time
proponents and opponents will be heard; ,and
WHEREAS, it- appears desirable that the City of Saint Paul should be
represented thereat to participate therein as the City's interest may
appear;,'now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, that the Corporation tounsel is hereby :authorized and
directed to attend such hearing on behalf of the City of Saint Paul
and to take such - action therein as the Corporation Counsel shall''
determine to be ;appropriate on the part of said City.
