RESOLVED, That the Council hereby approves the award of the Purchasing
Committee therefor and hereby awards contract for furnishing and
delivering to the Dept. of Public Works, Bur. of Municipal Equipment,
891 No. Dale St., St. Paul, Minnesota, one hydraulically- operated
Tower Truck, 1961 Intl AMC -164 Chassis with walk -in cab, Smith Inc.
16 ft. body and Truco Model TAL 34 -40 Tower, for use by the Bureau of
Lighting, to INTERNATIONAL HARVESTER COMPANY for the contract price
of $10,993,•24 in accordance with City specifications therefor hereto
attached and the Formal Bid #8238 of said International Harvester
Company, such bid being the lowest and said bidder being a reasonable

directed to draw up the proper form.,of contract therefor and the
proper City officials hereby are authorized-to"-execute said contract
