RESOLVED, That the Council hereby approves the award of the Purchasing
Committee therefor and hereby awards contract for furnishing and delivering
to the Dept. of Public Safety, Repair Shop, 1441 Rice St., St. Paul, Minn.,
four 1961 Chevrolet #1235 Station Wagons, 8- cylinder, 4 -door, 6- passenger

for ftlice emergency service, to CHAMPION CHEVROLET COMPANY for the price
of $9856.80 less allowance of x$1,800.00 for three 1959 Ford Station Wagons
and one 1958 Plymouth,.making net amount of contract $8056.80 in accordance
with City specifications therefor hereto attached and the Formal Bid
#8245cf said Champion Chevrolet Company, such bid being the lowest and
said bidder being a reasonable and reliable one and the Corporation
-Counsel-be and hereby is- directed t.o draw. -up the proper form of contract_
therefor and the proper City officials hereby are authorized to execute
said contract on behalf of the City of Saint Paul.
