RESOLVED, by the Council of the City of Saint Paul,
that said Council, in behalf of said City and its citizenry,
hereby takes and records official cognizance of the extensive
and consistently meritorious and valuably ir.reer' of -_ mun 3�;`•.^
service rendered by John J. Faricy for and, in the <. i,terest o�
said City and its government which had its inception in the
year 1932, and its culmination on the 9th day of December, 19609
upon his summons from this life by Almighty God, at a time when
said John J. Faricy occupied the position of Chief Accountant
in the Office of the City Comptroller, and when he had attained
and enjoyed national repute and regognition for extraordinarily
high learning and aptitude in the field of taxation and muni-
r �6ipal fiscal affairs; and that this Resolution, among other
things, shall be deemed to constitute a "Cittition of
Extraordinary Merit in Municipal Fiscal Affairs ", hereby
awarded, posthumously, to said John J. Faricy; and
