WHEREAS, the Ci-ty Architect, having requested the City Council to
hold a public hearing to considerany'complaints, about the expense incurred by
the City of Saint Paul in removing a dangerous structure at 1,19 Iglehart Avenue,
more particularly described as East 29 feet of Lot 20, all. of Lot 21, Block 19,
Yackubin & Marshall's--Addition to St. Paul, the City Council held a public
hearing on January 26, 1961, to consider the expense and to confirm the amount
thereof; and
WHEREAS, it appears that the City Council; pursuant to Co F. No.
196205; approved March 10, 1960, published. March 12, 1960, seta public -
hearing to consider removing the dangerous structure, and the City Council by'
C. F. No. 196555, .approved April 6, 1960, published April 9, 1960, ordered the
wrecking by and at the'separate• cost .and expense of the owner, occupant, or
other person in control thereof, and the'City Council BY C. F. No.- 195677,
approved August '26, 1960, published Spetember 3, 1960; directed the Commissioner
of Parks and Recreation and Public Buildings to enter upon the premises and
wreck and remove the building thereon and do any .and. all things therdin
necessary for the protection of life, limb and adjoining property, and that
the City of Saint Paul has incunred the expense of 1.1,5311..35 in removing said
structure; and
•T'THFFREAS, it .appears that Henry G. Henderson, 116 Oak Grove, Minneapolis
Minnesota, is the owner of the premises, and copies of the proceedings were
sent to Northern Federal Savings & Loan .Assn., 395 Wabasha Street, St Paul 2;
Jack M. and Lois M. Kelly, 516 Montrose Lane, St. Paul 5; Gerald G. Spangler,
419 Igl -ehart :Ave., St. Paul 3; and :Arthur furdemann, 535 Laurel Avenue, St. Paul

RESOLVED, that we, the City Council of the City of Saint Paul do hereby
confirm the amount of $1534.35 to be the fair, true, and reasonable amount for
such services incurred in removing the dangerous structure; and be it
FURTHER RESOLVED, that the City Clerk be directed to file in the office
of the Register of Deeds for the County of Ramsey a statement of expense,
incurred by the City for the purpose of securing :a lien on the property, pursuant
to the Building Code, Sec. 1.07 of the St. Paul Legislative Code.
