The Ramsey County Welfare Board, at its E- bgular meeting
on January 10, 1961, voted to authorize the transfer of funds within the
DepartmentTs budget to close out the year 1960, and to request the Members
of the City Council and the Board of County Commissioners to approve the
transfers as detailed in the report attached hereto.
As you will note, the transfers being made are from balances
available in line item accounts, as well as balances due to cash receipts.
The concurrence of the City Council and the Board of County
Commissioners of the City of Saint Paul and County of Ramsey is respect-
fully requested. If you have any questions regarding the transfers, I will-be
glad to answer them.

The attention of County Audito County Welfare Department
City Clerk - City Comptroller
is respectfully caged to the following Resolution of the Board of County Commissioners of Ramsey
County, Minnesota, adopted at the meeting held on January 30, 1961
By Commissioner Delaney:
WHEREAS The Ramsey County Welfare Board, at its regular meeting
held on January 10, 1961, voted to authorize the transfer of funds within
the Department's budget to close out the year 1960, and to request the
members of the City Council and the Board of Ramsey County Commissioners
to approve the transfers; Now, Therefore, Be It
RESOLVED That the Board of County Commissioners hereby approves
the action of the County Welfare Board in transferring within the 1960
Welfare Department budget the total sum of $651,207.78 of unencumbered
balances as of December 31, 1960, to the contingent account and the sum
of $317,874.15 from said contingent account to deficit accounts in the
1960 budget, leaving a balance of $333,333.63 in the 1961 contingent
account.
