I have a letter from Eltor A. "In connection with the opening, widening and extending of Concord Street the city condemned a strip 20 feet wide paralleling the old Concord Street and accepted a deed from the Standard Oil Company for the entire block. This conveyance is a warranty deed, recorded in Book 873 of Deeds, page 285, on January 17, 1930, and does not contain any restrictions. We find tkat the CityCounncil assigned this triangle to the Department of Pa s ay- grounds and Public _Buildings by resolution C. F. 8t,7797, approved January 6, 1931.
