A public hearing having been had upon the above improvement upon due notice, and the Council
having heard all persons, objections and recommendations relative thereto, and having fully considered
the same; therefore, be it
RESOLVED, By the Council of the City of St. Paul that the precise nature, extent and kind of im-
provement to be made by the said City is. to construct new sidewalk on the south side of Rose
Ave. from Burr St. to DeSoto Ste and on the east side of DeSoto St. from Rose Ave. to
Geranium Ave. and on the north side Geranium -Ave..—from DeSsto St.-to-Burr St. ands
to reconstruct the sidewalk approximately 53 feet on the west side of'Burr St.- abutting

The commissioner of Public Works, having had under consideration the
preliminary order of the Council, known as Council File No. 196534
approved
April 5th.
, 19 60 , relative to constructing
new sidewalk on the south side of Rose Ave. from Burr St. to Desoto St. and on
the east side of De Soto St. from Rose Ave. to Geranium Ave. and on the north
side of Geranium Ave. from Desoto St. to Burr St. and to reconstruct the sidewalk
approximately 53 feet on the west side of Burr St. abutting the property known--"
1145 Burr St.
and having investigated the matters and things referred to therein, hereby
reports:
1. The estimated cost thereof is $ 0.5„2 per so. ft. fox--n g- emnn- walk I;n
