gether with the State of Minnesota in a cooperative effort in the ac-
quisition. and development of more adequate park and recreation space,
and especially to lend assistance in the development of what may be
called "the Fort Snelling State Park" and its environs; to offer to make
Hidden Falls Park a part of the over -all plan of the Fort Snelling area;
and to encourage the acquisition of Pike Island, the Crosby farm land,
and all other lands within the city limits Whi ch might be suitable to
that development, either through the use of public funds or private
funds.,
