City of Saint Paul, that the following'
described tracts or parcels of land,
at and adjacent to the southeast_corner__
of Kellogg Boulevard and Robert
Street, in said City, to -wit:
All those portions of Lots 2 and 4,` -
Block 31, Saint Paul, Capital of
Mmnesota, commonly called Saint '
Paul Proper, lying south of the
established and existing south pub-
lic sidewalk line of Kellogg Boule-
vard and north of the north line
of the public alleys in said block,

described tracts or parcels of land, at and adjacent to the southeast corner of
Kellogg Boulevard and Robert Street, in said City, to –wit:
All those portions of Lots 2 and 1,., Block 31, Saint Paul,
Capital-of Minnesota, commonly called Saint Paul Proper,
lying south of -the--established and existing south public
sidewalk line of Kellogg. Boulevard and north of the north
line of the public alley in said block, according to the
recorded plat thereof on file and of record in the office of
the Register of Deeds in and for Ramsey County, Minnesota;
heretofore acquired and -now owned and held by said City for public purposes,
together with all of the tracts or parcels of land in the same block heretofore
acquired and now owned and held by said City for public purposes, henceforth
shall be retained by said City exclusively for public purposes;
FMOLVE -D FURTHER, that, subject to the foregoing restrictive
,,_, rfkcital hereof ,and the retent o.n,of the same for public purposes, Saint
Paul Winter Carnival.Association, Inc., hereby is authorized to install ari
ice block or other temporary replica of ,&,cornerstone of the proposed
public purpose and publicly owned glass block building proposed to be erected
thereon, in and upon the first hereinabove described tracts or parcel* of
land, under the supervision of the Commissioners of Public Yorks and Parks
and Recreation and Public Buildings; such proposed glass block building being
contemplated in exterior design to be representative of prior -Saint'Paul
.17inter Carnival Ice Palaces and to,iricorpor4te a. Saint Paul Minter Carnival
office and' public Information Bureau;
RESOLVED FURTHER, that said proposed structure is intended to be
promoted and financed by public subscriptions to a necessary building budget
fund therefor and to be owned and held exclusively for public purposes by
said City.
