REVISED RESOLUTION
RESOLVED, That the Council hereby approves the award of the Contract
Committee tl-Brefor and hereby awards a Contract for the construction
of the HAMLINE AVENUE BRIDGE over the Short Line Road and the Tracks
of the Chicago, Milwaukee, St. Paul and Pacific Railroad (Municipal)
State Aid Project No. 62- 145 -01), Bridge No. 62502 to JOHNSON BROS.
HIGHWAY & HEAVY CONSTRUCTORS, INC., in accordance with City Plans and
Specifications therefor and hereto attached and the Formal Bid #8302
of said Johnson Bros. Highway & Heavy Constructors, Inc. for the
contract price of x.23,982.98 (at unit prices bid), plus (engineering
of $331918.64 and plus Inspection of $8,479.66 by City Forces, such
bid being the lowest and said Johnson Bros. Highway & Heavy Constructors
Inc. being a reasonable and reliable bidder and the Corporation Counsel
be and hereby is directed to draw up the proper form of contract there-
for, and the proper City officials hereby are authorized to execute
said contract on behalf of the City of Saint Paul.
