1 WHEREAS, Xcel Energy Corporarion would like to donate four gas masks and eight canisters valued at
2 abaut $3,00� to the City of Saint Paul, Police Department; and

4 WHEREAS, the City of Saint Paul Police Department would like to accept this donation; and

6 WI3EREAS, the public purpose of this donaflon is to support the Police Department's law enforcement
7 and counter terror operafions in providing high level protection for officers against threats of chemical
8 warfare and riot agents, toxic industrial chemicals and materials, biological and radiological hazards;
