WHEREAS, the International Insritute of Municipal Clerks (IIlYIC) is a professional nonprofit association of Municipal Clerks
and officials from ciries throughout the United States, Canada and around the world; and
WEEREAS, City Clerk Shani Moore is on the Boazd of D'uectors for IIMC, representing the states of Minnesota, Iowa and
Wisconsin; and
WHEREAS, IIMC's mid-yeaz boazd of directors meeting is being held in Riverside, California on November 7 and 8th, 2008;
and
R�F�REAS, IIMC's polacy is to pay for the transportation, hotel and meal costs of the board of directors for the mid-yeaz
meeting; and
WFIEREAS, the amount that IIMC will pay for City Clerk Shari Moore is $706 for airfaxe to be reimbursed to Ms. Moose, $373
direcdy to the hotel plus meals as pro�ided by the organizarion;
THEREFORE, BE TT RESOLVED, that the Ciry of Saint Paul accepts the gifts of airfaze, hotel and meal costs from IIMC on
behalf of Shari Moore to allow her to attend the mid-yeaz meeting.
