Council City of Saint Paul Dear Council Members: A request has been received from the St. Paul Structural Steel Company for permission to erect a seven foot high chain link fence with three strands of barb wire on top, leaning in toward their property. This fence is to be located on the east side of Agate between York and a point fifty feet north of Cayuga Street. An inspection has been made of this site and our inspec- tor can see no objections to the erection of suc-h a fence with barb wire. Permission is requested to install this fence on our property line and waive the five foot set- back requirement. The reason for this request is to safeguard the children in this area. As shown on the enclosed pictures, if the fence were set back five feet this could not be accomplish"�!d:-..
