Hon. Council
City of Saint Paul
Dear Council Members:
Returned herewith is a letter from Robert J. Krueger of
1052 Lincoln Avenue, who requests permission to erect
a six foot louvred redwood fence on the property line.
Our inspector reports that the fence will replace a
picket fence and will provide privacy. He can see no ob-
jections to this fence and it is our recommendation that
the Council authorize the Building Department to issue
this permit.
Yours truly,

Gentlemen:
It is respectfully requested that your permission be granted for
the construction of a six foot louveredrred wood fence on the
property line identified as Summit Park Addition, East 5 feet
of Lot 4 and all of Lot 3, Block 37.
Fence will be constructed on the back half of the lot to enclose
the back yard. Reasons for wishing to do this are:
1) Existing picket fence is rotted in a number of places and
requires considerable repair "or replacement..
2) A fence is almost a necessity to keep our beagle dog in
her own yard and yet give her the freedom of not being
constantly leashed.
3) A fence of the type desired would enhance the beauty and
livability of the back yard from the standpoint of blocking
out the unattractive features of the alley as well as adding
a bit of privacy for family barbecuing, sunbathing, etc.
Our neighbors on both sides are aware that this request is being
made. The matter has been discussed with them and they are
birth agr6eablet to iitir constructiog this feiibg.
Thank you for your kind attention to this request. ' Upon receipt
of your approval we will obtain the necessary building permit
from the City Architect:
Respectfully,
r
