An ordinance amending Ordinance No. 32502, entitled:
i "An administrative ordinance relating to the
Civil Service Bureau of the City of Saint Paul, approving and
adopting rules and regulIations, therefor,''
approved August 20, 1914, as amended. This is an emergency ordinance
rendered necessary for the preservation of t2,e public peace, health and
safety.
THE. COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAINT PAUL EkOFS. ORDAIN:
Section 1. That Ordinance No. 32502, approved August 20, 1914,
as amended, be and the same is hereby further amended by striking out
Section 8 G; and by substituting in lieu thereof the: following: -,
Section
8 "G. HOURLY COMPENSATION -- With regard to positions in the
Graded Division, if it is desired to pay an employee on an
hourly rather than a monthly rate, such hourly rate shall be
the 173rd part of the monthly rate, plus, 15 per cent, computed
to the nearest quarter cent. (The 15 per cent addition is in
lieu of vacation, sick leave and holidays with pay.)"
- Section 2. This ordinance is hereby declared to be an emergency
ordinance rendered necessary for the preservation of the public peace,
health and safety.
