WHEREAS Minnesotats Fourth District Congressional representatives
Joseph E. Karth, has assured the Mayor and the City Council
of the City of Saint Paul that the Federal Civil Service
and Secret Service Offices will be retained in Saint Paul..
and
WHEREAS Congressman Joseph E. Karth has shown outstanding leadership
and administrative ability in his efforts to have these
Federal offices remain in Saint Pauly aid
WHEREAS this type of jo-operation between our city officials and our
congressional delegates is desirable and effective in
implementing plans and programs for the future of our city
and the greatest benefit to all our citizens,
NOW THEREFOREq BE ITIRFSOLVED that this Resolution of Commendation
and Appreciation by the Mayor and City Council of the City
of Saint Paul' be presented to Congressman Karth for'his
timely efforts and co- operation in the above matter, and be
