PAUL COUNCIL 202-124 OFFICE OF THE CITY CLERK FILE NO CAL RESQLUTION- GENERAL FORM WHEREAS, the Commissioner of Public Utilities has reported, in accordance with Section 53 of the City Charter, the existence of an emergency during the period from May lst to May 15th, 1961 inclusive, wlich rendered necessary the employment of certain employees of the Water Department for more than eight hours per day or forty hours per week in doing the following work: 1) Repairing equipment at Filtration Plant. 2) Working extra shifts, various stations. 3) Driving country crew to and from work. 4) Reading gauges Saturdays and Sundays. AND WHEREAS, this emergency arose by reason of the following facts and circumstances: 1) Necessary to do work during low consumption hours. 2) Illness of regular employees. 3) On account of scattered work locations. 4) In order to keep accurate records of lake levels. TARE, BE IT RESOLVED_, that the proper city officers are hereby authorized to pay the employees who performed such work in accordance with the provisions of the Councilds Salary Ordinance, Ordinance No. 6446.
