In the matter of improving LAFAYETI.'E ROAD from the northerly end of
the bridge over the Northern Pacific Railway Company's tracks (approximately
the northeasterly right -of -way line of the said Northern Pacific Railway
company) to Collins Street by surfacing the existing roadbed with asphaltic
concrete; by paving the widened roadbed areas with 7" concrete base and
3 1/2" asphaltic concrete surfacing; by constructing new concrete curb and
sidewalk adjacent to the widened roadbed; by constructing sewer, water and
gas service connections from street mains to the new property line where
necessary; by reconstructing the paving, curbing and sidewalks on intersecting
streets where not in conformity with said improvement and by doing all other
work which is necessary and incidental to complete said improvement, under
Preliminary Order No. 195952, approved by the City Council February 18, 1960.
