RESOLVED, that Sperry and Hutchinson Company be
permitted to install and operate a 27 —car off— street customer
parking lot on the west side of Lexington Parkway between
University and Fuller Avenues, on the north 30 feet of the south
115 feet of the east 330 feet of Lot 35, Hall & Brown's Addition
to Hyde Park, in,accordance with plans approved April 6, 1961,
subject to compliance with the provisions of all ordinances
governing the operation of parking lots, and to the condition,
that the sidewalk abutting said premises be kept clean and free
of ice and snow at all times. The above reference to Fuller
Avenue relates to the same as extended.

dear Madam:
This is in the matter of the application of the Sperry & Hutchinson
Company for a permit for a 27 car off - street parking lot located
on the west side of•Lexington Parkway between University Avenue and
Fuller Avenue extended. The property is described as the north 30
feet of the south 115 feet of the east 330 feet of Lot 35, Hall &
Brown's Addition to Hyde Park. The zoning is light industry and
commercial.
Part of this property is being developed with an addition to the
existing supermarket for the applicant. The remaining part of this
site will be developed for off - street parking purposes. This parking
lot will be an addition to the existing parking lot adjoining on the
south. The property• under consideration has a frontage of 30 feet
and extends to a depth of approximately 330 feet, resulting in an
area of approximately 9,900 square feet. The entire surrounding area
is developed with commercial and light industry uses.,
The Traffic Engineer has approved the plan which meets the standards
for this type of facility. Field investigation discloses no objection
as the proposed development is an extension of an existing use on
property so zoned to permit this use.
In consideration of the above factors, the Board of Zoning recommends
the granting of the permit for a 27 car off- street parking lot on the
above described property in accordance witb.plans °approved April 6,
1961.
