WHEREAS, Comptrollers Contract L- 6202 -A, Ashbach Con-
struction Company, - contractor for the construction of
the Grading and Paving of East Seventh Street from
Johnson Parkway to White Bear Avenue and a Storm Sewer
in E. Seventh Street from Etna Street to Germain Street,
has been substantially completed, and

WHERAS, said Contractor requests that a portion of the 15%
retained under the Contract from estimates for work done,
be paid in advance of the final completion of the Contract,
and
WHEREAS; the Commissioner and Chief Engineer of the Depart -
ment of Public Works approve the payment at this time of
15,750.00 of the $,,26,250.00 retained, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, that the proper City Ofiic3al s be and they• are - " r
hereby authorized to pay an estimate in the amount of
0 15,750.00 from the retained percentage of $ 26,250.00
to said Contractor, and be it
FURTHER RESOLVED,,-that this Resolution
or effect unless the Sureties on the
consent thereto in writing and file
