OFFICE OF THE CITY CLERK FILE COUNCIL RESOLUTION - GENERAL FORM PRESENTED COMMISSI, FM WHET& S, the Commissioner of Pablic Utilities has reported, in accordance with Section 53 of the City Charter, the existence of an emergency during the period from February 16th to February 28th 1961 inclusive, which rendered necessary the employment of certain employees of the Water Department for more than eight hours per day or forty hours per week.in doing the following works 1) Repairing equApment at Filtration Plant. 2 Working extra shifts various stations- 3 Repairing water mains: 4 Driving country crew to and from work. AND WHEETAS, this emergency arose by reason of the following facts and circumstances: 1 Necessary to do work during low consumption hours. 2 Illness of employees on regular shifts: 3 In order to put water mains in service as soon as possible: 4 On account of scattered work locations: TBEFWOREi• BE IT RESOLVED, that the proper city officers are hereby authorized to pay the employees who performed such work in accordance with the provisions of the Council's Salary Ordinance Ordinance No: 6446.
