WHEREAS, The Coimni.ssioner of Parks and Recreation and
_ Public Buildings has reported, in accordance with
Section 53 of the City Charter, the existence of
an emergency during,the period from February 16 to
February 28�'1961, which rendered necessary the em-
ployment of certain employees of the Department
of Parks and Recreation and Public Buildings for
more than eight hours per day or forty hours per
week in doing the following works
Architectural designing and checking in
the City Architect's office.
And WHEREAS, This emergency arose by reason of the follow-
ing , facts and circumstances::
Accelerated activities.
THEREFCRE, BE IT RESOLVED, That the proper city officers
...__are_hereby.authorized to pay the employees who perw
formed such -work in accordance with the provisions
of the Councilts salary ordinance, Ordinance No. 64469
