WHEREAS, in the matter of Comptrollerls Contract L -6213, for
the construction of a Sewer Extension at Concord and Curtice
Streets, Robert W. Moore, contractor, the specified date of
completion is July 1st, 1960, and
WHEREAS, the Contractor has prosecuted the work diligently, IL
but due to delay caused by the existence of wrecked automobiles
and automobile parts on the construction area, which were not
removed in time by the owner, it was not possible to complete
the contract by':said date of completion, therefore be it
RESOLVED, that the proper city officials be and they are hereby
authorized and directed to execute an amendment to said con-
tract extending the time of completion to JULY 65 1960, pro-
vided, however, that t1i3$ Resolution shall have no force or
effect unless the Sureties on the Contractor's Bond consent
thereto in writing and-file such consent with the City Comp-
troller, and be it
FURTHER RESOLVED, that the City of St. Paul her eby'waives ail:
claim for liquidated damages and that.-no engineering and in-
spection costs on this Project will be charged by the City on
account of such extended period.

claim for liquidated damages and that no engineering and in-
spection coats on this Project will be charged by the City on
account of such extended period.
