"Junior Civil Engineer ", and "Dental Hygienist ", and
WHEREAS, it is highly unlikely that a suff ici ent list can be
establishedfrom among residents of the City of St. Paul, and
WHEREAS, it is highly desirable that competition,be extended
to 1961 graduates. of the University of Minnesota and other local
colleges, even though they are not residents of the City of St. Paul:
therefore, be it
RESOLVED, that the residence requirements for admission
t o examinati ons as provided in Section. 10 D of the Civil Service Rules
are hereby waived for the fir st examination fo r "Junior C ivi 1 Engineer"
and the first examination for "Dental Hygienists' to be held following
passage of this resolution; date of the examinations t o `be set at the
discretion of the Chief Civil.S ervice. Examiner.
