WHEREAS: The City of St. Paul is internationally known
for its outstanding contributions to figure
and speed skating activities; and
WHEREAS: The Commissioner of Parks and Recreation and
'- Public Buildings has recommended the promotion
of Skate -O -Rama- to b'e- held in the" St. ' Paul
Auditorium on March-A',%'-1961., be it resolved
that'-a memorial be offered at-the-beginning
of "said ,program'for the members- of" the
United .States figure skating-team who lost
their iives•in•a plane crash, Wednesday,
