, The Commissioner of Parks and Recreation and
Public Buildings has reported, in accordance with
Section 53 of the City Charter, the existence of
an emergency during the period from February 1 to
February 15, 1961, which rendered necessary the em•+
ployment of certain employees of the Department
of Parks and Recreation and Public Buildings for
more than eight hours per day or forty hours per
week in doing the folloidng work:
Architectural designing and checking in
the City Architeetts office.
And WHME9S, This dmergency^ arose by reason of the follow
ing facts and circumstances _
Accelerated activities.
THMEFORE, BE' IT RESOLVED, That the proper city officers
are hereby. authorized to pay the employeeswho per-
formed such mark in accordance with the provisions
of the Councilts'salary ordinance, Ordinance No. 64469
