This is an emergency ordinance rendered necessary for the preservation of the public peace, health and safety. THE COUNCIL OF TM CITY OF SAINT PAUL DOES ORDAIN: Section 1. That Ordinance No. 7607, approved February 13, 1935, as. amended, be and the same is hereby further amended by striking out the specifications for "Chief of Adult Library Services" and for "Chief of Branch Services ". Section 2. That said ordinance, as amended, be and the same is hereby further amended by striking out the specifications. for "Chief of Youth Library Services", and by substituting in lieu thereof the following: "(This title is hereby abolished except as to present incumbents.)" Section 3. That said ordinance, as amended, be and the same is hereby further amended by inserting in its proper alphabetical order the following specification for: "Supervising Librarian (Children and Youth)tt. To conduct meetings of staff assistants working with children and youth. To prepare reports regarding activities and progress. Minimum qualifications: College graduation, including a major in Library Science and four years of professional library experience, at least two years of which must have been in children's and /or young people's work.
