PAUL OFFICE OF THE CITY CLERK a(ze�_ CCU CIL RESOLUTION — GENERAL FORM PRESENTED BY COMMISSIONER DATE COUNCIL NO 00418 FILE WHEREAS, The Commissinner of Public Works has reported, in accordance with Section 53 of the City Charter, the existence of an emergency during the period from January 1 to 15, 1961, which rendered necessary the employment of certain employees of the Department of Public Works for more than eight hours per day or forty hours per week in ding the fol- lowing work: Emergency street, building, sewer & bridge repair Dispatching men for emergency repair work Dispatching motor vehicles for all emergency Operating equipment on emergency repair work Emergency calls for sewer maintenance Removing ice and debris from city streets Taking care of complaints at city yards Tending fires at Asphalt Plant on Sundays & Drawing plans & specifications for grading & Mimeographing various materials Serticing municipal equipment Making up sidewalk assessments Inspecting work on city improvement jobs work Council File No. 200418 — By Milton Rosen — Resolved, That the proper city officers are hereby authorized to pay certain employes in the Department of public Works for extra employment as de- scribed in the resolution.
