about the expense incurred by the City of Saint Paul in removing
a dangerous structure at 419 Iglehart !Avenue, more particularly
described as the East 29 feet of Lot 20, and all of Lot 21,
Block 19, Mackubin & Marshall's Addition to St. Paul; !and
WHEREAS, it appears that the last known record owner
of the property is Henry G. Henderson, 116 Oak Grove,
Minneapolis 3, Minnesota, and copies of the proceedings were
sent to Northern Federal Savings & Loan Assn., 395 Wabasha
Street, St. Paul 2; Jack M. and Lois M. Kelly, 516 Montrose
Lane St. Paul 5; Gerald G• Spangler, 1+19 Iglehart Ave.,

therefore be it

Paul hold a public hearing in the Council Chamber at 10 o'clock

FURTHER RESOLVED, that the City Architect notify by

A statement of expense has been filed with the City Clerk on
this date for the purpose of creating a lien on the property
known as 419,Iglehart Avenue, described as East 29 feet of Lot
20, all Lot 2T, Block 19, Mackubin & Marshall's Addition to
St. Paul.
This property is owned by Henry G. Henderson, 116 Oak Grove,
Minneapolis 3, Minnesota and copies of the proceedings were
sent to Northern Federal Savings & Loan Assn., 395 Wabasha
Street, St. Paul 2; Jack M. and Lois M. Kelly, 516 Montrose
Lane, St. Paul 5; Gerald G. Spangler, 419 Iglehart Ave., St.
Paul 3; Arthur Wurdemann, 838 Laurel Avenue,, St. Paul 4.
In this matter, the following resolutions were adopted by the
City Council:
C.F. 196205, approved by the Council March 10, 1960 (published
March 12, 1960, set a public hearing at 10 A.M. April 1, 1960.
C.F. 196585, approved by the Council April 6, 1960 (published
April 9, 1960), ordered the wrecking by and at the separate
cost and expense of the owner, occupant, or other person in
control thereof.
C.F. 198677, approved by the Council August 26, 1960 (published
September 3, 1960, directed the Commissioner of Parks And Rec-
reation And Public Buildings to enter the premises and wreck and
remove the three story frame 19- apartment building thereon, and
do any and all things therein necessary for the protection of
life, limb, and adjoining property.
C.F. 199392, approved by the Council October 21, 1960 (publish-
ed October 22, 1960) approved the award of the contract for
wrecking to Minnesota Lumber and Wrecking Corporation for the
sum of $1,472.00 in accordance with specifications and Inf rma�
Bid No. 1959. /J n

C.F. 199830, approved by the Council December 1, 1960 (publish-
ed December 3, 1960), provided that the wrecking expense of
$1,472.00 and expense of the Department of Parks And Recreation
And Public Buildings in connection with the condemnation in
the amount of $62.35, making a total of $1,534.35 be paid out
of Wrecking Condemned Buildings 31 G 22, and, in the event said
sum proves collectible from the owner, same is to be credited
to 31 G 22.
The building has now been satisfactorily wrecked and a register-
ed bill mailed to the owners.
We are requesting that you hold a public hearing with ten days'
notice to consider any complaints about the expenses incurred
and to confirm the amount. The Council resolution confirming the
expense should end with a directive to the City Clerk to file a
statement of expense for the purpose of securing a lien on the
property.
