RESOLVED, That the Council hereby approves the award of the Contract Committee
therefor and hereby awards contract for the Construction of a Sewer in Arlington
Avenue from Jackson Street to 230 ft. East of Rlainert Street to F. MORETTINI
CONSTRUCTION COMPANY in accordance with City plans and specifications therefor hereto
attached and the Formal Bid #8721 of said F. Morettini Construction Company for the
(and unit prices bid)
contract price of $34,222.00/( Plus $2,737.76 Engineering and plus $684.22 Inspection
by City Forces) such bid being the lowest and said F. Morettini Construction Company
being a reasonable and reliable bidder and the Corporation Counsel be and hereby is
directed to draw up the proper form of contract therefor, and the proper City
officials hereby are authorized to execute said contract on behalf of the City of
Saint Paul.
