A public hearing having been had upon the above improvement upon due notice, and the Council
having heard all persons, objections and recommendations relative thereto, and having fully considered
the same; therefore, be it
RESOLVED, By the Council of the City of St. Paul that the precise nature, extent and kind of im-
provement to be made by the said City is to grade and surface with bituminous material and do
all other work incidental thereto on Arlington. Ave. from Westminster St. West to the West
property line of the Minneapolis, St. Paul and Sault St. Marie Railroad and from a point
approximately 1,100 ft. West of the center line of Westminster St. to Jackson St., also
construct all necessary drainage facilities and constructing a sewer for storm and
sanitary purposes from a point 464 ft. west of Westminster St. to Westminster St.;
thence north in Westminster St. to Nevada St.
and the Council hereby orders said improvement to be made.
RESOLVED FURTHER, That the Commissioner of Public Works be and is hereby instructed and
directed to prepare plans and specifications for said improvement, and submit same to the Council for
approval; that upon said approval, the proper city officials are hereby authorized and directed to pro-
ceed with the making of said improvement in accordance therewith.
